IAKS Poland elects Executive Board 2020-2024

IAKS Poland held its General Assembly on 14 September 2020 at the head office of the National Olympic Committee in Warsaw. The newly elected President is Marcin Herra who has already been member of the Executive Board for the last two years. Together with former IAKS Poland President Zbigniew Klonowski (on duty for 8 years), Robert Papis now acts as Vice President. Dariusz Maik continues his work in the Executive Board. Newly elected board members are Jacek Czauderna and Bogdan Kulczyński who are in charge of the Revision Committee.

The IAKS Poland Executive Board is pleased to receive continued support by Polish National Olympic Committee President Andrzej Kraśnicki who founded IAKS Poland 15 years ago and is its Honorary President.

Before the elections Zbigniew Klonowski presented the association’s activities of 2016-2020. Members discussed the challenging situation due to Covid-19 pandemic, especially for large sport arenas.

Marcin Herra explained the plans for the upcoming term: to acquire new members, to involve more companies and institutions, and to support and consult new investments in sport and leisure infrastructure. The organisation of the fourth edition of the Infra-sport Congress is carried on.
